The house is deceptively large. A stone bridge crosses a stream to the arched front doorway which opens on to a spacious entrance hall with 'winter' dining area.
To the left, a door leads to the lounge with traditional fireplace and wooden doors opening on to the garden. Logs for the fire are stored in a special recess although the house is centrally heated throughout.
The kitchen, separated from the lounge by an open arch, is restored with modern amenities including a dishwasher and an electric oven/gas hob.
At the back of the house is a small washroom and toilet and a tool room with washing machine, a tumble dryer and various other equipment for garden and house. An oil container which supplies the central heating is also nearby.
